    How does the submission flow work?

    Upload at least 3 photos (optionally 5 with the extra photo upgrade), then choose to self-write or have FKLC write your story with the $1 editing package. Optional upgrades include extra photos and additional tanks with editing included.

    What is included in the $1 editing package?

    FKLC writes the first draft (no credit used) and includes 3 revision credits that never expire and stay tied to that tank for future updates.

    How do you detect duplicate submissions?

    We check email + tank name similarity and tank size before payment. Anything over an 80% match is flagged for admin review and shown to the user.

    Are these prices permanent?

    No - these are special launch promotion prices! Current rates ($1 editing package, $1 extra photos, $2 additional tanks) are introductory pricing to help build the Community Tanks feature. Prices may increase as the feature grows and more submissions come in.

    How is pricing calculated?

    First tank is free when you self-write and use 3 photos. Editing package is +$1; extra photos are +$1; Ad-Free Page is +$3 (or $5 after publication). Each additional tank is $2 (editing included) with optional +$1 for extra photos.

    When will I hear back?

    Expect a first draft or review note within 5–7 days. Editing credits remain available for later updates even after publication.

    Do I keep ownership of my photos?

    Yes. You retain ownership and grant FishKeepingLifeCo a non-exclusive license so we can host, credit, and promote your feature.
